Joel meets another survivor in The Last of Us

Naughty Dog's The Last of Us looks set to be the perfect blend of survival gaming and action-adventure in a post-apocalyptic setting. In a world beset by a fungal plague, long-time survivor Joel finds himself looking after 14-year-old Ellie, as they seek a safe haven from both the infected and other survivors.
This video starts off similar to the previously release gameplay demonstration from June, but adds another 8 minutes of footage that shows different mechanics. It's well worth watching to whet your taste for another title from the masters of cinematic gaming.
The Last of Us is a PlayStation 3 exclusive, releasing early to mid-2013.
