NUMERO UNO!
Well Done 3G!!!!!- Good: fast, simple, not too much.
The best buy for your money! - Bad: Limited coverage, but hey, stay near the junction or where people live!
If you go camping most of the time, then get Telstra NextG, otherwise, 3G is number 1!!!!!
- Good: fast, simple, not too much.

At long last I can give away the dialup speeds. I cannot get ADSL broadband due to the par gain line Telstra supplied and the 3G network coverage has just covered my area (Woodcroft SA). Set up is a no brainer and speeds great!
- Good: Price far better than any of the current 3G providers.
Set up is so easy. - Bad: 3G areas limited currently but I have been told this will improve.
Having problems getting info on sharing the wireless internet connection with another home PC. Plenty of info if you have ADSL but not with a wireless connection.
- Good: Price far better than any of the current 3G providers.

Man. Finally a company that can provide the Express card for my new laptop. Screw Telstra. I bought the 3 Express Card on the 1mb plan but will definately upgrade to the 2mb immediately. Have had absolutely no problems at all with the 3 Express Card and have been able to surf the net with ease.
- Good: Easy to use. Simple to set up with fast download speed.
- Bad: Limited coverage, although I haven't had any issues and shouldn't have in the area I live. Webmail could be better although functions well for its limited capability.

Holy Crap this ones a winner, Experienced the new network for the first time this week and I gotta say hats of to 3. I expected a few teething problems but this was flawless from bodgy motorola A830's 3 years ago to 3Gbps Wireless broadband today. Glad I jumped on board in the early days cause this is bloody fantastic
- Good: Lighting fast, Reliable, Affordable
- Bad: ROAMING DATA! 6mb outside of 3G zones and $1.65/mb Yeesh

I bought one a few days ago on a $69/2GB plan @ $10/month and it works well. Downloading files at nearly 50Kb/sec which also impressed me greatly, having been using dialup all this time (no ADSL where I live in Adelaide). Uploads are counted though. The plan also includes voice air time on the network - I am told I could take the SIM out of the card, put it in my phone and make free calls up to certain limits. In fact, for an extra $30/month on top of the $69, I can get $500 worth of local, mobile and overseas calls - who needs a landline?
HSDPA - bring it on!
Skype presently kinda works but the 64kb uplink makes outgoing voice a bit hard to understand at times.
Streaming radio and TV works OK. For web browsing and email, I suggest the use of ad blockers and compression services to make the most of available bandwidth and quota, such as AustOnLine TurboCharger.- Good: Cheap for wireless Internet. Cheap card @ $10/month, cheap extra calls @ $30/month for $500 worth of capped services.
Ladies and gentlemen, we have a winner!! - Bad: Uploads counted as part of quota, bigger quota options would've been good too.
- Good: Cheap for wireless Internet. Cheap card @ $10/month, cheap extra calls @ $30/month for $500 worth of capped services.

I use Three's old 384kbps netconnect card on a $29/200mb plan and rarely have any problems, although it can be a little slow when in densely populated areas (eg. North Shore in Sydney)
- Good: Easy to use software, straight forward installation.
- Bad: Even though my 3 mobile reads full reception at home, the netconnect card struggles to get 3 out of 4 bars so it would be best to check reception before locking yourself into a 2yr contract because they do not offer refunds!
