I used the 350D for a friends wedding over the weekeng and having only played with the camera for a couple of hours prior, I managed to take reasonable pics in fuly auto mode. I personally have a fuji s5000 point and shoot of which i am more than satisfied with for every day use. The two are similar to use what with the dial on top for manuel use. I now will be purchasing a conon 350D or 400D in the neer future. In Auto, my old fuji takes 8 seconds to turn on shoot in low light situations, the CANON Under 2 secconds. Im sold.

    Sony Cyber-shot DSC-H50

Plentiful features with all manner of adjustable options, entertaining gimmicks and rock-solid shooting make us like this camera a lot. If you could stick an SD card slot in there, it'd be one of the best superzooms we've seen. Sadly, it loses marks for the proprietary connections.
