Comments: Many public libraries throughout South Australia have offered free WiFi for more than 2 years. It's a terrific network. Often in isolated country towns, the local library is the only available WiFi source - great for travellers. The signal normally covers the interior of the building as well as adjacent car-parks etc so that internet access to the WiFi signal can be gained 24/7. A list of the 72 libraries currently offering the service (many have multiple sites) is shown here: http://www.plain.sa.gov.au/documents/wireless_technology_for_south_au.htm. All 190 public libraries in South Australia will offer free WiFi by June 2009.
