    • Good: Tonnes of connections, great picture (looks especially awesome with an Xbox 360,) good looking unit, and I could go on.
    • Bad: Speakers suck, but don't all built-ins. Other than that I can't really think of any cons myself.

Picked mine up for $700 at Big W when they had a big sale on a couple of months ago. Couldn't be happier!

    • Bad: Had to have software upgrade after 6 months.Using Thomson settop box with Extra remote.

    • Good: Good amount of connections, fairly good picture if using top quality cables.
    • Bad: Customer service rep says that they have not yet come out with a remote code, no idea when, no plans to let purchasers know what it is when it comes out. Wow, now that customer service! I really love having to use different remotes for volume and changing channels! Picture is nearly as good as my year old sony. I have no idea about their computers but I am going to stay away from their TV's from now on.

Sorry, site was slow, clicked button twice on my previous comment.
Just got off of phone with customer "service", 21 min to get them.

    • Good: Picture quality is OK if you use good cables, not as good as my sony which is nearly a year old.
    • Bad: Acer will not give out codes to program on a remote, that is retarded, I have no need for a pile of different remotes.

Terrible, Acer will not give out codes to program on a remote, I am returning it today!

    • Good: - Great as a monitor
      - Lots of connections
      - Nice remote
      - excellent quality picture
      - swivel base
      - removable speakers
      - good menu system

    • Bad: - can't think of any!

Beautiful unit!! no motion blurr on high speed scenes, sporting events look incredible, blacks are deep and the colours are rich, excellent brightness, works incredibley well as a monitor, I've had this unit for just over a year, coupled with excellent monster cables, and a HDTV source this Tv is spectacular for it's price, anyone having issues with this unit , must be using regular cable signals and poor quality cables and video source BaTManuel777 is 100% right, most people that do complain are too cheap to get the good cables and the necessary equipment to produce the crisp picture they expect...

    • Good: easy to use, tons of connections for extra equipment. the side speakers are removable so you can make it look really sleek, beautiful colour, excellent brightness, the swivel base is a real plus too. good looking remote, well laid out, excellent menu system with a fair amount of settings
    • Bad: no remote codes for multi type remotes,

This is a great Tv, Pizpot is using coax and watching regular 4:3 basic cable from the sounds of it, i have HDTV Connected via Monster cables, now you must all realize that your reception quality related to the quality of equipment you are using, if you are using porr quality cables and a crappy cable box then you are going to see crap quality images, you have to spend the money and get the good cables and good amp, and try to not to run long cables as the signal will degrade, there are just so many variables involved with getting a good picture that you just can;t say the quality sucks, especially if you are using a straight coax connection to your tv, in almost aevery case that set up will yield extremely poor quality picture, spend the time and research what you will need to get the crisp flawlwess pictures you expect

    • Good: Many connections available, many options to sound and image, good price.
    • Bad: The company has the worst call center and customer attention if you experience problems. After waiting for 2 months until the technician touch the TV, the problem appeared again on the 3rd day after. Support call center attendants lies with their excuses about the delay on the service. A shame to a brand that had always a good impression for me. I'm completely

    • Good: Plenty of ports for connections
    • Bad: refresh rate not the best

Big Problems, had to send it back twice in 6 months.

have had to send it back twice because it would lose tv channels when turned off and now it is getting dead pixels.
