AutoPainter 3 throws you in the deep end, perhaps assuming that you have used previous iterations of the app and know how it works; but, once you get in there and start playing, it's really fascinating to watch in action. It turns your photos into the painting styles of four different oil painters — Monet, Camille, d'Orcia and van Gogh. When you open the app, you can either take a photo or choose one from your roll; the paintbrush button allows you to add a detail mask for things like faces (you don't have to be too accurate here), and then you select which style you want. The app then paints it as you watch — it's quite enthralling and you'll probably find yourself playing with all your photos, just to see what they look like at the end.
