Welcome to CNET Australia's App of the Day, where you can see some of the coolest, silliest and most useful apps in action.

I don't know about you guys, but here in Sydney we're having a crazy-weird summer; the climate can't decide whether it wants to be sunny, rainy, windy or some loopy, humid combination of all three. It's times like these that a weather app comes in handy, and Weatherzone Plus is just the bee's knees. It lifts information from the Bureau of Meteorology for seven-day and three-hourly forecasts for over 2000 Aussie locations, real-time weather observations, weather maps, weather warnings and everything you need to weather the weather, whether you like it or not.

Weather Australia is way better than this one, and it is free with no ads.

Have been using the free Android version for quite awhile, and am very happy with it. Now that I see the plus version is only $1.99, I might invest in it!
