Publisher's description
Stop using that static, unchanging picture on your desktop, and put on a dynamic image of the earth that updates as the world turns. Highresolution maps and beautiful, specially-generated graphics are individually crafted for six different monitor sizes from VGA (640x480) all theway up to 1280x1024 pixels. While you work or while you leave your computer just sitting there, the newest desk picture keeps slipping behind your icons as often as youchoose. HourWorld Live Deskpicture uses the HourWorld WorldClock engine to create a high-resolution graphic of the world, with the current locationsof sun, moon, daylight, twilight, and darkness drawn over a 2160 x 1180 pixel map of the world. The image is saved as a picture file optimizedfor your monitor and current settings, and then the System 8.5 or later Appearance application is called upon to install it as the current deskpicture. The process repeats every time the earth rotates one pixel on your screen, or less often if you choose. The work is time-sliced over theentire update period in order to avoid excessive slowdowns of your other work.
