Avast Antivirus 4.7 Home Edition

Avast Antivirus 4.7 Home edition works fairly well for a free antivirus protection.

Avast Home is great. I thoroughly enjoy its simplicity and it is a far better than Norton AntiVirus (or Norton AntiProgress as I sometimes think of it).

- Bad: The updates can be alittle slow and interfaire with what im doin (sometimes) but its better with the latest version
I really love this anti-virus software ... ive been usin it in 3 years and ill never had a single problem with it! Its FREE too!

better for my vista premium, haven't been infected yet,,,also use norton security scan, avast virus & worm cleaner, mcafee site advisor, used trojan shield, Microsoft malicious remover tool,

- Good: Using Avast after using a accredited VirusScan for many years I find less drain on my dial-up connection, when updating Avast. In the past I would not be able to do anything else except allow the former Virusscan to finish its download.
- Bad: I update myself as it is quicker than waiting for Home Edition. If not for my using modem it might be quicker to receive updates.
