Excellent! Just Amazing!
I actually wanted to buy the Netgear WPN824 but it was sold out in the shop so I just bought the Belkin knowing that it also supports MIMO.I had little trouble setting the thing up and I tested it 200feet away with the card: Not a single time does the VOD at 300K drop! Whereas the older54g won't even start!!! Very impressed but the card sometimes broke down...that's the only criticsm...if you use an another card, than it will be fine.

I personally think it's great.
I understand the compliance with the upcoming N standard is not guaranteed but that's still a year off and I have had my router since January '05. I have no idea what any of you are complaining about, if you cannot set it up you shouldn't really be doing anything technical with your PC, seriously, stop it - you're only kidding yourself. For instance, "articwoof" -[sic] (I think he meant acrticwolf, the router does not only support 64-bit WEP. It actually runs great on even WPA2 which is lightyears ahead of even 128-bit WEP. It upsets me when people post and have no idea what they are on about i.e. - What the hell has a firmware upgrade got to do with using your Sony PSP? You're forcing my brain to devolve, lol.

Unreliable product.
My first Pre-N Router worked only for a couple of days. Although all lights were lit, it became inaccessible (through Internet Explorer / set-up). The reset button didn't work. It must be something related with the built-in software. The device was exchange and the second modem worked much longer (about 6 months). But now I am experiencing the exact same problem.

Great but not with a Dell Laptop
Live on an acre with the office out in the guest houlse. All the buildings are brick. Great connections - really like it. HOWEVER, the Dell Laptop I have from work has a design problem with the PCMCIA slot and the BELKIN node will not work in it. Neither Dell nor Belkin will talk to me just telling me to go talk to the other party.

Gets this network professional's Best Pick!!
I install wireless networks for a living. I know all about and have tried every router available. This one is HANDS DOWN the best! Great distance, stability and speed. If you are using multiple routers on the same subnet, a 802.11g card seems to be more stable on handoffs from one router to another. Great unit. Love to answer any questions about it!

Best WLAN Router currently available.
I thouroughlt tested a Netgear Travel router, the Linksys WRT54GS, and the Belkin Pre-N. My laptop has a integrated Broadcom WLAN with the 125/Speedbooster. You'd think the Linksys with Speedbooster would be better? No way! The Belkin connected smoothly and analysis showed it worked around interferences quite well. I live in a condo with at least 6 other networks detected and all kinds of interference going on, and I stay connected at 54Mbps over 90% of the time. Reading reviews of people saying they had constant connect problems need to look into thier situation better. I run on channel 1 and get great speed and good distance. Stop whining about the menu interface. It's simple and easy to setup. I have my pre-n set as a access point and use the WPA-TKIP shared encryption. While neighboring networks are getting dbm's in the -70's, -80's, and 90's, I'm hitting constantly between -10 and -45 with transfer rates off the internet equal to my wired 100mbps nic on the pc. Before throwing a fit, do some research on your settings and do it right, you'll end up with rock solid performance.

Great Idea, too far ahead of its time.
Okay, So it's a good idea. Better covrage is always good but from what I understand if you own a Sony PSP, you are S.O.L. because the Pre-N is to far ahead of it's time if Belkin can't make a firmware update.

Setup nightmare
I spent over 10 hours trying to set it up but failed in the end. It's reset button worked 1/3 of the time and it's Access Point functionality didn't work at all. It broadcasted its network but nothing can connect (tested it on 6 different WiFi products. 3 different laptops, a Palm, a PSP and desktop). Turning on or off the security is the same. The setup menu sucks. I'm returning it and getting a LinkSys or Netgear instead.

Brilliant
I have no idea what you two are on about seriously.
I have WPA-PSK enabled and it works brilliantly. I have eMule running also and am able to manage it remotely and I installed UltraVNC today and that works brilliantly. Must be a couple of Noobs...
