Do you have a penchant for ripping your digital collection into lossless audio formats or high bitrate MP3s? You'll need a high capacity media player that can store your hundred-odd gigabyte collection. The iPod Classic tips the scales at the maximum 160GB, with the Archos 705 Wi-Fi following close behind.

If you don't mind buying from overseas, the Microsoft Zune is another to consider at 120GB (currently not available in Australia, though). Here are our picks for voracious music lovers.

The iPod Classic refines the formula that put the iPod on the map. Few can match its combination of storage capacity, battery life and intuitive user interface.

Are you kidding me? The nano maxes out at 16GB that's nothing compared to the 64-160GB players listed here.

i have to admit, the Australian market for high-capacity MP3 players isnt that good. People who want a lot of space (80GB+) are kinda forced into the iPod Classic, which i have (120GB). There are much more overseas like samsungs and toshibas which have over 80GB
