Best portable video players

When you buy an MP3 player these days, it's more than likely to come with video playback support as well. Even so, we've collected some of the best players for watching video on the go.

Our list contains the more traditional stalwarts like the iPod Touch, but we've thrown in a curve ball or two with the inclusion of the PSP Go. Both players are limited in file format support, though. There's also the Archos 5, which shows it's not just Apple that can do connectivity and web browsing.

Apple iPod Touch (3rd generation, 32GB)

Though the updates are subtle, the third-generation iPod Touch still leaves its competitors in the dust.

    No Samsung i8910 HD ?
    I know its a phone but it has a great screen for video playback and supports more formats than most devices on your list.

    I do like the iPods you've included, especially since they play 3GP, Divx, Xvid and WMV.

    No wait, they don't!

    C'mon guys, can't you at least include some video players that play video? My portable media experience will involve the Touch HD and TCPMP.

    its not so good as ipod touch ...especially in design there are some problems in this stuff which i saw recently in
