BlackBerry Storm 9500
By Joseph Hanlon on 05 December 2008
The Storm is a successful experiment and a decent smartphone. Those who take to the clickable touchscreen will love its ease of use and the excellent range of productivity tools on-board.

- Good: Tactile Touchscreen
Battery Life - Anything like BOLD
Best Email System going around
Best Screen
Security
Has a Camera that actualyl records
Wow it can copy and Paste & send MMS
Bluetooth pairing to a car.
Integrates with iTunes - Bad: Wi-Fi - Is it seriously that big an issue
Hasn't been paraded around by a Cult Leader
Doesnt have an App Store yet - But Apple innovated the iPhone which looks good lacks programs but hey I can spend more $$ and buy apps that should already been on the phone
Well considering the iPhone didn't have 3G when it first came out, still can't copy & paste and is more buggy than a copy of Windows Vista why is everyone panning this because of Wi-Fi? . This phone has already beaten Apple with the Tactile Touch screen. Is a more secure device, runs email better than anything else Why aren't we all applauding it? Guess RIM needs to hire someone who owns some Turtle Necksshits
- Good: Tactile Touchscreen

- Good: INteresting touchscreen
- Bad: INteresting Touchscreen
You guys banging on about wi-fi are ignorant of both the market that RIM appeals to as well as the usefullness fo wi-fi. I've got/had wi-fi on my last 3 phones, and I always used the data plan rather than wi-fi, after all it's a "phone" not a damn laptop. If you are comparing it to a n IPhone then your concept of what a Blackberry does is misconceived.

- Good: Hi-res screen, 3.3MP camera, HSPA, 3.5mm headphone jack, Cheaper then bold, Fast processor.
- Bad: No wifi, tactile touch screen sounds like it will be great or terribly annoying, Non xenon flash.
I don't know no wifi is annoying but now a great loss, the only time i ever seem to have acesss to wifi there is either a computer to use or i have my laptop.

- Bad: No WiFi so Bye bye...
No WiFi, that too in todays tech world is lame. I use it often at home and at work. I also considered BB Bold.
BUT opted for HTC Touch Pro.. Got to say couldn't have been happier :-)

- Good: Tactile keyboard with touch feedback, landscape and portrait, Bluetooth Stereo, 3.2MP camera, Video, MMS, BES email connectivity
- Bad: looks big
Get over this wifi thing, hotspots in Australia are rare as hens teeth and besides, BlackBerries have always come with unlimited email and browsing plans, so data costs are capped. The compression technologies are far superior to iphone... this is the device I have been waiting for, a true iPhone competitor!

- Good: Looks like everything...
- Bad: Except the lack of wifi...
I agree with wifimebaby. With the cost of data on our phone plans, wifi is a BIG deal. It'll be the reason I get an iPhone over this. C'mon RIM, bring on the Storm with wifi (2ng gen maybe?).
