Of the new inkboxes showcased at the press launch in Japan
last week, eight of them are single-function photo printers
(iP1600,
iP2200,
iP4200,
iP5200,
iP5200R,
iP6210D,
iP6220D and
iP6600D),
while the rest are multifunction models (MP150,
MP170,
MP450,
MP500
and MP800).
Melvyn Ho, vice president of Canon Singapore, believes the new
range of PIXMA printers will "give consumers with varying
printing needs more choices, more features and a better
value".
All the printers are expected to be available over September and
October.
