Love the engine, twin turbo's from a german.. whooa!

Pros: Great engine

Cons: The shape has nothing on one of the most beautiful shapes in car history, the previous 99-06BMW 3 series coupe. Looks like a masterpiece imo.

Also I went and sat in one when I was considering it, and the doors were half the weight of the old cars.
BMW will tell you its to make the car "lighter". Ill tell you the bean counters lopped off quite a bit of car to keep costs down.

hmmm...

I drove one at a BMW track day. A beautiful car to drive.

Pros: Excellent balance and grip, very crisp handling, strong smooth engine. Great on the track. Point and go.

Cons: Not sure about the looks of the car. The new shape makes it look like its put on a few pounds and is not as svelte as its predecessor.
