Paris Motor Show 2008 Audi's latest A1 concept car features funky turn signals and turbo hybrid drivetrain. Don't be misled though, this or something very much like it, albeit with a conventional engine, will be heading to stores soonish.

The Sportback feels like the umpteenth A1 concept car that Audi has trotted out, with the latest car featuring five doors and a turbo hybrid drivetrain. The latter may or may not make it to production, but the A1 is at unbackable odds to slot into Audi's line-up by either the end of 2009 or sometime in 2010. It will be smaller than the Golf-sized A3 and will be targeted at those thinking of a Mini.

Pretty cool car. If it does come into production - It would be better if it's a more 'conventional' car.

For those craving a luxury four-wheel drive with an emphasis on luxury rather than cornering elan, then the RX400h is a good choice. It's about as much four-wheel drive as many of us will ever need, and its fuel thrift is pleasing too.
