CEDIA Gold Coast 2006: home entertainment expo
By Jeremy Roche on 31 July 2006
CNET.com.au headed up to the Gold Coast for the CEDIA Expo (Custom Electronic Design and Installation Association) last week to check out the latest in home theatre technology and design. Take a look at what we found in our photo gallery.
At a mammoth 103 inches (or 262cm for the metric-minded), Panasonic claims this plama television is the largest in the world. It certainly managed to draw in quite a crowd during the three-day CEDIA trade show, with its 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution screen showing aspirational onlookers how HD really should be viewed. The picture quality on this beauty was nothing short of spectacular -- mind you, we'd like to see how it performs with fast moving images when it is released in Australia in the first quarter of 2007. Read more about it here.
