Chrome (beta)
By Robert Vamosi on 03 September 2008
Google has rethought the Internet browser — some of its basic underpinnings are quite novel — but users will recognise some features as they exist in other, open-source browsers on the market today.

It's OK, but nothing special gave 7/10 on 04/09/2008 08:56
- Good: I guess they've taken the best bits from each browser and put them all together...
- Bad: Just because it's from Google doesn't mean it's the most innovative piece of software ever.
The only thing which is actually innovative here is the javascript engine, and it's really not as fast as they make out (it's about 1.5x faster than FF3 in SunSpider). Tabs on top = Opera; One process per tab = IE8; Low-privilege processes = a Windows Vista feature (IE7); WebKit = Safari; More useful address bar = FF3 & IE8

- Good: Works fast
- Bad: If it works at all...
Simple sites work inconsistantly for me. Live Mail, Facebook, news.com, theage.com.au all seem to misbehave

- Good: Nice, simple design.
Loads pages fast. - Bad: Haven't found any yet... (I don't really use many add-ons)
I'm loving this browser. Using it right now. In terms of loading web pages, like on cnet and smh, it actually does load faster than IE and firefox for me, which is great :)
- Good: Nice, simple design.

- Good: fast and simple..nice looks
- Bad: looks could have been better..others are all fine..
I guess It's the tbeta version hence lots of site dont open in this browser. E.g Hotmail opens but in the classic format. and lots sites are fully not supported by this browser.
But i guess it's just because it 's a beta version and will work out soon
It's really fast though.. goog to browse -

- Good: Very fast to load websites! Simple, user friendly interface.
- Bad: No add ons like FireFox.
Overall, I would say it is very fast and the interface is very simple. I showed my colleagues and they are pretty impressed with the speed.
