For the past 20 years, Mac gamers have felt hard done by when it comes to the selection of games available compared to Windows users.

It's fine if you love Blizzard games like Warcraft, Starcraft and Diablo, and things have been getting better in recent years, but there are still thousands of classic games out there that will only play nicely on Windows.

But if you install a free application called Boxer, you'll find that you can now install hundreds of classic Windows games directly onto your Mac.

For those who have heard of DOSBox, Boxer is simply a very simple, very slick interface hiding DOSBox underneath.

Whether you have old PC games lying around, or you buy some classics through a service like Good Old Games, Boxer lets you drag and drop the install files, and without any fuss you'll have those classics up and running in no time.
