Behind the scenes: The Taj Mahal was built in the 17th century by the Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. Today this magnificent building has become a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. This photo was taken on the north side of the Taj where there were less tourists around. I waited for the sunset to capture the warm glow reflected of it's marble surface.
