    Looks great! screen looks awesome

    Only got it yesterday. which means I didn't have the chance to explore it;s potential yet. At first glance, it looks a decent laptop. tried to play a dvd but it gave me an error saying the cyberlinks caa't read it. tried another dvd it work. Not that the first dvd had somthing wrong with it because it work perfectly on my normal dvd player. is there a way to view a movie on a dvd that actually fill up the entire screen?

    Dell over promise and under deliver

    Dell has a great website to tell you when a laptop is to be delivered, but it isn't updated. It can be a month later that you actually get what you want

    Wasn't sure what to expect, No regrets at all

    I do a fair amount of 3D CAD work. I wasn't sure if the Duo core would handle the load required by the software package I use. (SolidWorks).
    No issues at all, the machine is fast, quiet, and has handled all my 3D requirements
    Great buy, a little pricy.......love it

    Top End Power Low End Noise

    I didn't know what to expect really. I new it would be a nice bit of kit though and I haven't been disappointed. It's quick and quiet. For a desktop replacement its surprisingly portable. Serious all round users will not be disappointed.

    i want one

    the 9300 has only been out for one year, and i love it, the upgrades into the 9400 can only make it better. Watch out though, judging from the casing of the 9200/9300/9400, it can get easily damaged. i expect the 9500 to be no different (which will come out as soon as another processor and/or GPU arrives).

    Perfect. simply perfect.

    Although this is an expensive unit (and more so with the 7800 gforce Go upgrade) I simply cant fault this unit. I purchased this for my wife after her last laptop was stolen. And i must say she loves it. plays every game you can throw at it. its super fast, super quiet and highly efficient off the power source.

    Please note I was miffed a bit by the casing of the unit. for such an expensive unit i was expecting a little more than a bog standard casing design.

    The sound will knock you off your feet. it sounds as good as my desktop surround sound set up.

    EQ1 = full settings on etc .. perfect
    EQ2 = full settings on etc perfect
    wow = full settings perfect
    DDO beta = again was perfect
    Fear = perfect ..

    basically everything ive thrown at it, it runs without a trouble.

    i will recommend the 2GB ram and the 7800 go graphics upgrade though. as thats what my wife is using.

    These are mean

    As soon as i pulled this out of the box i new it was mean. There are no faults, event the battery life is awsome for something this size. after a month i could nearly get 3 hours out of a charge. The graphics are great ran bf2 all on high. This is an all around machine.

    Unbeatable Gaming Power

    No other laptop comes close, performance in 3D games is fantastic in the Inspiron 9300 and the video upgrade in the 9400 can only be better.
