- Good: Good pragmatic design with useful features.
- Bad: Heavy. NVIDIA graphics component on this laptop is infamous for this model. Just Google it. Since it is attached to motherboard, if one has a model with defective graphics, the entire motherboard needs to be replaced. Other problems noted in comments.
Nicely designed laptop when it works. Unfortunately, an unreliable laptop on the go is like driving a car that breaks down frequently. Fortunately the laptop is still under warranty as I've had to replace the original hard disk; the motherboard twice; the LCD screen once; and, the new LCD screen is showing graphics problems. Could be this particular laptop was is just a lemon but one then wonders about quality control over kep components and parts thereof.

- Good: Reliable
Great features
Super fast performance
Fantastic ease of setup
- Bad: Battery life never enough but a good compromise
lacklustre appearance in today's trendy world
I specced mine with Intel Centrino Duo T7600 2.33GHz, 4Gb RAM and other nice features. It is running WinXP. The PC arrived by courier ahead of schedule and on start up it ran a wizard which had me setup for ALL items including web, email, networking, printing etc in under 30 mins. I went back from the 9 cell to the 6 cell for portability and have had a totally trouble free experience since day 1. I also have a work HP Compaq 6910p and the Dell eats the HP up. Easily the best technology buy I have ever made. Superb performance and product.

- Good: Easy to use, lightweight and lasts a long time
- Bad: That fingerprint scanner is poorly positioned. Makes it tough to use the mouse buttons
Just got one - love it!!

- Good: None
- Bad: Everything
Replaced lcd screen in half a year. Very bad customer service, took months. Battery last just 1 year, out of warranty, what can you say?
