Philips'diamond TV
Philips certainly drew a crowd at the Sydney Home Show in May, showing off a AU$250,000 Ambilight TV decked out with 225 carats of diamonds from world famous jewellers, Swarovski.
Figuring they were on to a good thing with the tech and fashion fusion idea, Philips and Swarovski have again teamed up, but this time on some slightly more affordable jewellery-with-a-practical twist offerings.
We first saw these "Heartware" accessories at a Philips event in Auckland, and they're new crystal coated heart-shaped necklaces which cleverly open up to reveal a 1 GB USB memory stick. Imagine giving your loved one jewellery that also held, say, 250 love songs or 1000 photos of you together on that romantic getaway?

If you really must have matching accessories, then Philips has come up with -- not earrings exactly -- but crystal covered in-ear headphones.

There are a couple different design options in the ranges, but fashion conscious geek girls and boys can expect to pay around AU$299 for the necklaces and AU$265 for the headphones.
