By on 02/09/2004

More Apple reviews , RRP: AU$2199.00

The good:

  • Attractive, slim design
  • Includes the G5 chip
  • Wide-screen display
  • Quiet operation
Built-in speakers sound better than expected

The bad:

  • Too little RAM for default configs
  • Positioning of screen not as flexible as on last iMac
  • Still uses a one-button mouse
  • Wi-Fi and Bluetooth cost extra

The bottomline:

The iMac is as much a design choice as it is a computing choice, perfect for people who need to look good while they work.

Users' rating:

10/10
