A limited edition of the Ricoh GR Digital has been released to commemorate the first anniversary of the camera.
Ricoh's flagship digital compact camera -- the GR Digital -- turns one year old this month, and to celebrate the company has launched a special limited edition model.
Japanese designer Katsuya Terada created illustrations of gold angels and clouds on a blue sky to turn the ordinary black body of the unit into a work of art. The comic designer of Hellboy, Terada also worked on the Iron Man comic as well as the animated Japanese film Blood: The Last Vampire.
A limited amount of 1,000 cameras have been manufactured for distribution worldwide.
At AU$1,299, the Katsuya Terada-designed GR Digital retails for AU$300 more than the original model. It is available exclusively from authorised GR Digital stockists. You can contact Ricoh via their Web site for sales enquiries.
