Pentax's entry level K200D dSLR has low noise even at its highest ISO setting and generally shoots nice images.

Even at ISO 1,600 the K200D keeps noise to a manageable level, a decent amount of sharpness, and colours retain their saturation.

Pentax's K200D entry-level SLR gives a lot of bang for the buck and has better performance than last year's model.
The Pentax K20D uses a new sensor that emerges from the its joint development efforts with Samsung.
This morning, Pentax, at its first global launch held in Australia, announced the release of its latest digital SLR models, the K20D and K200D.
The latest rumour has it that Pentax plans to announce two new SLR models, the K20D and K200D, on January 24, a week before the Photo Marketing Association trade show begins.

Aimed at amateurs, the Samsung i8 is a user-friendly digital camera with strong multimedia functionality and helpful how-to guides. Slow performance and the sometimes frustrating logic of the main menu will mean this is probably one to skip unless you're interested in the bare basics.
