try to find some one to work on the old t.v.s any more and if you do find some one they will charge you $500 or more to fix it. take the 4500 and put it into a flat screen. Hdtv.

i someone is planning to buy sparkling wega sony tv... please do not buy as this tv is set at very high contrast and watching for even an hour will give u eye strain also colours as not as saturated as in old trinitron. go for old trinitron that is much better than sparkling wega. i wonder how a company like sony launched a product without caring for customer.

you can get a hider CRT with a HI-DEF tuner, for pure image quality CRT is still the best.

treedoc01: Some CRTs have high definition, but none take advantage of the full resolution that PS3 / Xbox 360 can output.

A CRT can be used with digital if you use an external set top box with it.

Will a CRT purchased now be usable when Australia goes all digital? Does High Definition mean anything with CRT?
