ProGuard combines access- and license management for your network. While Firewall and virus scanners protect your network from external dangers, PCs and laptops with CD drives, USB ports, and Internet access pose a hazard from within the system. Unwelcome software, risky scripts, games or viruses can infiltrate your network. The PCs defined software environment may be altered, the maintenance overhead increases, and the network's stability and the level of security are at risk.

ProGuard puts you in control of who can start specified applications and which applications and file types are forbidden (even when the PC is offline). With the help of a flexible rules wizard you control the file type authorization and define the valid user groups. ProGuards License Control assures the compliance of license conditions throughout the company and protects you from license violations. A simulation mode, and extensive protocol, and statistics functions make your security complete. Version 1.1.0.4 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.
