dCut is a program written for Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition (MCE). dCut was written to make it easier to compress and cut the DVR-MS files which are created by MCE. dCut combines the tasks of cutting out only the segments you want from DVR-MS files, and compressing DVR-MS files into a smaller format (Windows Media 9). Also dCut allows you to do all of this from your couch, utilizing the a 10' UI which integrated directly into MCE. dCut works via a hosted HTML App, and uses the MCE remote control.
