DiffEngineX compares two Excel workbooks by highlighting the cells that differ between them with color. A cell-by-cell difference report is generated in a new worksheet. It can align sheets by inserting blank rows and columns such that identical spreadsheet cells end up with the same addresses. It can be used via its user interface or the command prompt. Its Align Rows and Hide Matching Rows features are good for comparing two Excel lists. Just remember you may need to get Excel to sort the sheets first. DiffEngineX can compare tens of thousands of rows quickly.

Version 1.40.1.5 allows users to choose how sheets are colored more precisely.
