ActiveSolid is a fast, compact, and powerful dual mode 3D modeling, 3D dimensioning and view mark-up application and ActiveX plugin. The entire application including its user interface can be embedded within any COM container including Microsoft Office and Internet Explorer. It features an intuitive GUI, import/export plug-in architecture (with import/export plug-ins downloadable from ActiveSolid's home page), unlimited undo/redo, associative 3D linear/angular/radial dimensions, robust Boolean operations on 3D meshes, 2D polygons and voxel models (using linear octrees), 3D text & text mesh, 2D profile generation, polygon offset, local vertex/face editing, optimal solid reconstruction from parallel contours, 3D extrusion along vector or a polyline path, 3D mesh trimming by a plane, view mark-up and inspection tools including interactive cutting planes (for inspecting internals of an solid object), as well as an array of other powerful 3D object creation/editing tools. Supports over 40 3D file formats and a dozen 2D file formats.

Version 2.7.5 is a major upgrade, features full support for Windows Vista and 38 additional 3D file formats.
