Safety Button, the iPhone assault alarm.
If you get in trouble, make sure someone knows!
Mace, noice alarms and self defence - all great things which come in handy if you get into trouble. But what if no one knows you ARE in trouble? How long will you last?
Stay safe with Safety Button, using the built-in technology in your iPhone together with an external server solution. Start the program, and your steps are being traced on the server every 20 seconds. In case of emergency: Press the button and do one or all of the following:
- sound an alarm
- send a text message with your position
- send an email with your position
- make a distress call
to any contact of your choice.
WHY SAFETY BUTTON?
This application was thought up by Karl Eldebo, who has been training women in self-defence for the last decade. Safety Button is designed to add that extra security to everyday life when you take a walk outside, when you get in a cab or any other situation when you feel that something might go wrong.
Thanks to modern technology you can now be sure that someone always knows exactly where you are and that you easily can make contact if something happens.
IMPORTANT:
The text messages send from Safety Button can be read on any cell phone. The receiver DOES NOT need an iPhone.
As simple as smart, the Safety Button works all over the world and comes with 1 prepaid text message and you can reload it when you need to.
Visit our homepage www.SafetyButtonMobile.com for information, reviews, reloads and FAQ.
** This application does not work with iPod Touch**
Safety Button is an app from the creative programming studio Sillens AB, creators of ShapeUp Club best-selling nutrition and training diary, with 45.000 happy users so far.
