There's not a lot the 7100 can't do. Topfield's done a fine job in combining all the relevant features users and PVR buyers will be looking for.
Beyonwiz's DP-P2 is a PVR for those who don't mind a bit of tinkering and setting things up. The quest for the perfect PVR still continues.

I don't get it?? Have people forgotten about Media Centre Edition and IceTV. Why isn't there any mass marketing for this gear? It's already out there, with the features described above, plus more. In fact, I've been doing this since 2005. And it works with all Free-to-air TV. Get with the times people. Vista home premium comes with Media Centre (which I've seen yet in action yet) but I'm sure it will kick the crap out of what "Seven" are going to offer.

Or get eyeTV and a mac mini. I guess these two options just havn't the mass marketing that I'm sure 7 will put into theirs.

Time shifting for just 3 free-to-air channels?? What a waste of time, money and space - I don't need another box under my tv man. Talk about coming late to the party.

Will this EPG be available for owners of current DVR's? I have a Sony SVRHD700 and would love EPG access through this device
