Exposure: Mark Dadswell

Biography: Mark Dadswell is the winner of the Second Prize Sports Action Singles award in the 2009 World Press Photo competition, and is one of Australia's leading sports photographers.

Mark has documented many national and international sporting events, most notably three Olympic Games, the World Athletics and Swimming Championships, the President's Cup Golf, the Australian Open Tennis, the Rugby Union World Cup and Soccer World Cup Qualifiers.

As well as being a senior staff photographer with Getty Images, Mark's work appears regularly in newspapers and magazines in Australia and internationally. He has also been commissioned to shoot many advertising campaigns for clients such as Puma, Adidas and Nike.

    It's so great to see my cousins photo's up in the limelight, my sister is also a photographer and I hope she does just as well as mark has!

    The shot of the baseballer going into the wall is excellent! Great timing. Some really nice shots here.
