Biography: Matt Robinson is a freelance Sydney photographer who first picked up a camera in July 2007, and hasn't put it down since.
In June 2008, Matt won CNET Australia's Canon Exposure competition, which led to the opportunity to take a master class with award winning photojournalist Tim Clayton. One of the photos from this master class was selected for the front page of The Sydney Morning Herald's Sports section, and later appeared in the 100 Years of Photography DVD.
Matt's primary interest is in using photographs to decipher the world around him. Whether that's observing and documenting life's stories as they unfold, or creating stories of his own through imagery.
Matt has a keen interest in all genres of photography, but specialises in street photography, documentary and photojournalism.
