What I was wondering is how does itunes pay the mechanical royalties to the copyright owners and how much does it pay out of that $1.69 ? I cant find any info on this anywhere.

Can someone explain easily how I can buy thins on the Australian iTunes when I am in the US? There are several silverchair things not available to us fans over here and it's driving me insane. I have heard that you can buy Australian iTunes gift cards online but I can't find where.

well i have tried to dowenload music from other international stores but they wont let me.
So I browse the songs I wont on my ipod and use Limewire to get the international ones.
If they are not willing to sell them.. then I have no problem getting them for free. -
