FIFA 10 offers the best gameplay in the series' history and includes even more features and game modes to boot.

    to the person who said not worth extra 100 bucks you obviously suck at the 360 degrees player movement.

    also the foul system is shocking. sometimes you tackle a player from behind and the ref plays on as if legit and other times you can just brush off a player slightly and ur penalised.
    not to mention if you take a computer opponent down within 10 yards from the box 9/10 they will score from the freekick (even league 1 teams you play in FA cup) - i mean come on ive had better success with saving penalties!

    still rate gthe game 9 out of 10 tho as the improvements made are quite good, yet with this there have been some odd setbacks which fifa 09 didnt have like the fouls.

    i hope fifa 11 addresses this issue.

    what about if you have fifa 08 and are thinking of getting 10? is that worth $100 upgrade?

    • Good: 360 dribble, customs set pieces, direct fk easy to score, players do what you ask not what they want.
    • Bad: keepers fumble balls easily. fouls given to easy. menu is slow, still international teams missing. advantage rules doesnt work well.

    I got this game after many months on fifa 09 with lots of fun. At the start you notice the good things, new arena options , set pieces, player control, free kicks are easier to score, but then you notice the bad things. menu seems to have troulbe loading. keepers knock the ball into there own net or funble straight shots.The most annoying thing for me is sometimes when u win the ball from a tackle you give away a free kick. some times all u have to do is run next to the player and it gives a free kick. other times you can be tripped over and no free kick is given. Also because free kicks are easy to score u conceed goals from them more often which is good but its very anoying if u didnt actualy foul the player in the first place. The advantage play in 09 was too long sometimes the play would be pull back 50 meters, now if ur player has the ball and makes a pass and your other player recieve the ball and is instantly tackled the game plays on, no real advantage. Something else that cheesed me off was in the manager mode. Its was the first season just come up to the january transfer window i had W15 D4 L4 and i had a cup game against bristol rovers. I loose the game 1-0 because im usless. after the game it goes to the board happiness bar which before the game was 85% full.IT wipes it the bar to zero. i then play the next game win 8-0 and advance to the results screen only to find that the season is being simulated and i am kicked out of the job for loosing one game 1-0. I had to start a knew manager mode.

    Sure FIFA 10 is better than Fifa 09 in many reigons: Manager Mode, Set Pieces, graphics and control. But Nothing has changed from 09.
    There are no massive improvements and if you have 09 there is no point in getting 10, as the slight changes arent worth the $100
