Magic Count is another great knitting app. It's a row counter that also does "magic formula" calculations for shaping instructions. It's free. The website is http://bikibird.com

There are quite a few others. If you're interesting in knitting or crochet the best all-round site, which has some apps, is Ravelry.com. With more than 600,000 wmembers worldwide there isn't much you can't find out, and it has excellent databasing facilities for yarn, needles, projects - all with photographs. The one thing it presently lacks is an iphone app, but that's in the pipeline.

Hi M-H,

I did find some good paid apps, but the problem is that I wanted to find free ones for you guys. However, if anyone wants to find the paid ones, just do a search for "knitting" on the app store.

A Ravelry app would be awesome.
