E3 has come and gone for yet another year, and just in case you had your attention on other less important things like trapped miners or Federal Budgets, here are a few of the highlights:
- Sony has big plans for the PlayStation
3, starting off with a big price tag of AU$829 for the
cheaper bundle and AU$999 for the premium package. Start saving
those dollars for a 17 November Australian release.
- The name Wii
still makes people laugh, but it looks like Nintendo has
convinced a few naysayers thanks to its strong pre-E3 press
conference and an equally strong E3 exhibit. The Wii was by far
the hottest product on the show floor, with attendees lining up
for more than six hours just to have a play.
- Microsoft has a strong games
line-up for the Xbox 360, including a little-known game
known as
Halo 3.
- Despite reports, booth babes were alive and well at
E3.
- The N-Gage is still kicking around, apparently.
