Face it -- roses, chocolates, and yes, diamond rings, have been done before. If you really want to impress your sweetheart, surprise him or her with a tech present that will have them remembering you the whole year through.

Roses die, chocolates are quickly eaten, and a diamond ring is theoretically a once in a lifetime pressie. So why not think outside the square, and come up with something that combines the romantic with the practical? Say, a DVD player with a copy of "Sleepless in Seattle" ... an MP3 player loaded with "Love Me Tender", "Unchained Melody" and "Endless Love" ... or a digital camera with your picture taken at the scene of your first date. C'mon, get creative.

And if our Gifts for Her and Gifts for Him pages don’t spark your imagination, you might want to just go for one of our Latest and Greatest. If the object of your affection isn’t already head over heels in love, they will be after unwrapping one of these babies.

Let your Valentine know: Want to take the guesswork out of Valentine's Day shopping? Send your loved one a gentle holiday hint about the cool tech gear that will make your heart flutter. It's easy.

  1. Dive into any of our product reviews.
  2. When you find a product that's captured your heart, click the "Want this? Send a hint" button.
  3. Choose one of our snazzy holiday hint cards and enter the e-mail address of the person you want to send the hint to. An e-mail message will be sent with a link to the gadget your heart desires, as well as your fun card message.

So what are you waiting for?

We have reviews of the best gear you can get, and you have some hints to drop. Hey, while it's better to give than to receive, it's still really fun to receive, no?
