Mortlock slated for Aussie cover of Rugby 08

With the Rugby World Cup set to kick off in France this September, EA Sports has announced the cover stars for its upcoming game tie-in, Rugby 08. In Australia, Wallabies captain Stirling Mortlock will grace the cover of the PlayStation 2 game, which is set for release down under on July 26.

EA Sports has chosen 11 different union players for the covers of Rugby 08 in different countries around the world. In the UK, Mark Cueto will be on the cover along with Mortlock, while France has Frenchman Yannick Nyanga. Brian O'Driscoll, Paul O'Connell and Ronan O'Gara will be showcased on the cover in Ireland; Bryan Habana, Schalk Burger and Francois Stevin in South Africa; brothers Mauro and Mirko Bergamasco in Italy; and Richie McCaw in the USA, Canada, Mexico, England and France.
