Commandos Strike Force: Compare prices

By Greg Kasavin, GameSpot.com on 26/04/2006

More Atari reviews , RRP: AU$80.00

The good:

  • Successfully applies some elements from the Commandos strategy games
  • Fairly open-ended levels let you tackle objectives out of order

The bad:

  • Disappointingly dumb enemy artificial intelligence
  • Missions often boil down to trial and error
  • Bland presentation
  • Multiplayer's nothing special and no one's playing it

The bottomline:

Though based on a great series of innovative tactical action/puzzle games, Commandos Strike Force comes off as just another middling World War II shooter, despite some good ideas.

Tomb Raider: Anniversary's success is twofold; it does well by the memory of the original, and makes a dynamic action adventure game that's fun to play in 2007.
