Been waiting for Avatar to come out on 3D Blu-ray? Well it's time to get your chequebooks out.
From 1 November until 31 December, 2010, customers who buy the Panasonic VT20 50-inch, 54-inch, 58-inch or 65-inch will get a free copy of the movie.
"We are excited to bring Avatar in 3D exclusively to Panasonic's customers and for the very first time to lounge rooms", said Matt Pearce, Viera group marketing manager for Panasonic in a press release.
In addition to the disk, customers will also receive a Panasonic SC-BTT755 Blu-ray system (AU$1099) and an extra pair of goggles (AU$199).
20th Century Fox has yet to announce when the standalone Avatar 3D Blu-ray will hit stores, but the 2D Extended Edition is due on 24 November 2010.
