Nic Healey can usually be found on a couch muttering about aspect ratios and 7.1 channel sound - which is helpful given that he's the home entertainment guy at CNET.

Chances are it'll be quite a few months before most of us have a chance to get hands on with the Xbox One.

Update: The render is actually an unofficial, but approved, model made by SketchFab.

Until then, you can at least get a very in-depth look at what to expect, thanks to this rotatable 3D model from Microsoft.

The full Xbox One kit is present — console, Kinect 2.0 and new-look controller — and you can zoom in and out on any part of it to your heart's content.

It's embedded below, or you can click here for a full size version.
