Grumpy Cat has claimed the Golden Kitty award from Henri Le Chat Noir at the second annual Internet Cat Video Festival in Minnesota, the US.
The Walker Art Center in Minnesota returned to the Internet Cat Video Festival from 28 August to 1 September, airing the internet's most-watched cat videos in an open-air catstravaganza of cute.
Special guests included last year's winner, Henri, Grumpy Cat, Lil Bub, Pudge and Nyan Cat and Keyboard Cat creators Chris Torres and Charles Schmidt, who earlier this year sued Warner Bros for the unauthorised use of their creations in Scribblenauts.

This year, the coveted people's choice Golden Kitty award was pretty much a shoe-in. In the year since Grumpy Cat first went viral on the internet, she has appeared on The New York Times' bestseller list, scored herself a movie deal and even inspired her very own coffee line, the Grumppucino. She also has over 12.5 million views on her very first video, and over 136,000 subscribers to her YouTube channel.
Even though she was up against such heavyweights as "Cat Licks Vacuum", "Cat In A Shark Costume Chases A Duck While Riding A Roomba", "Kitten Meets Hedgehog" and "Catalogue", she swept over 20,000 votes.
The size of the festival between this year and last has grown massively, too. The Walker Art Center will be touring, with " several national and international tour dates scheduled for the coming year", although it hasn't mentioned what those dates are or whether any of them are in Australia.
