Do you suck at Rock Band or Guitar Hero? Never fear, try your hand at the Rock Photographer app.

Even though rhythm games have well and truly fallen out of fashion, the All-Nighters studio have come up with Rock Photographer, an app that simulates a live gig. Rock Photographer makes it seem like the player is taking photos at a concert, with real footage from bands performing. It lets you tilt the iPhone or iPod Touch in order to view different angles and snap a winning shot.

Players get points for lining up star shots, and there's a touch of old-school here too: you get a roll of film that needs to "develop" after taking a set number of photos. You can download it from the App Store for AU$1.99 as an introductory price.
