    Played COD 4 online, and it seems there is a bug on this game, so the Blue Ray on the machine broke down, cause its starts spinning too fast. The store sent it to Sony in England, and they will send me a new machine. But will take a month, though! Thanks buy the way to the article writer and Modder for using time to explain:)

    okay this is only on one game and it happends to be call of duty!
    so it gets to the loading screen and then right after that it makes a beep and the screen goes black.
    and its only for this one game.
    and how much does a hardrive cost?

    I have upgraded my PS3 with a 200gb HDD and since then it has been running very slow. As in taking over 1 hour to install demos from Blue Ray. Even games are taking over 1 hour to install where they used to take 10 to 15 mins.

    Now more recently i have downloaded good old FF VII from the PSN Store and it freezes on the install. Does anyone have any idea what the problem could be?

    OK to answer all questions because it seems that no one has ansewered anybody in here yet...

    First to "rob roby"

    Unfortunatley your ps3 is plainly "a bad seed:. It one of the ps3's that playstation has unfortunatley taken off the line a little too quickly. Your only hope is to send it to sony (they will replace them) or wait till near christmas this year for the new ps3 slim... in your case you may not want to buy one right away as thoes versions are usually the ones that break down.

    Next, "Cazamor".

    You also have the same problem as Rob Roby. Only yours is a little less severe. your playstation also has the "Bad Seed" complex. However, yours is a cheaper fix. 1: go to www.play-asia.com or google ps3 bluray replacement drive and buy one off of the net. 2: go to youtube and search, "How to replace ps3 bluray drive"

    Other than that you can also send your ps3 back to sony and they will replace. Unfortunatley they will give you a ps3 that is NOT backwards compatable and it will have NO memory stick slots.

    Next, "Wildplasser"

    Follow the HDD upgrade instructions from above article and you should be fine. if your not, then you can download the content again for free. you already own it. your save game file should be fine though :)

    and finally to "GUILE".

    the hard drive size has to be 2.5 inches. any other HDD will not fit, sry, buy another.

    you can also upgrade xbox 360 HDD too but WAYYY more Complicated because XBOX doesn't want you to be able to use your stuff to it's fullest extent... that's why Playstation is better, freedom to do as you please :) Peace
