Don't assume an iCloud failure is your fault. Check Apple's status first.

If you're iPhone or iPad is using iOS 5 you've probably started playing around with iCloud. There have been a few outages since launch which makes users wonder if they're doing something wrong when things don't sync the way they expect.

If you're having any trouble with iCloud the first thing you should check is the iCloud system status page. Visit the iCloud System Status page and you'll see the current status and any recent outages.
