iPod Shuffle gets the colour treatment
By Dawn Kawamoto on 31 January 2007
Apple added splashes of colour to its iPod Shuffle lineup Wednesday, offering the tiny music player in four bright hues, as well as the original silver.
The iPod Shuffle now comes in a choice of pink, green, blue, orange and silver. And while Apple touts the trendiness of the new colours, they can play a practical role for those who have trouble locating the half-cubic-inch device when glancing about a room.
Apple's application of colour to the AU$119 1GB player comes three months after the debut of the device, which initially was offered in only silver. The player was unveiled in September by Apple Chief Executive Steve Jobs, but iPod fans had to wait until November for the formal launch.
