The Click DIP-Switch sells for US$169.99 and is available in multiple colours.
These retro-inspired digital watches feature a number of gadgets and gizmos to keep happy the geekiest horophiles.
Spotted this one on Twitter courtesy of timepiece aficionado and TechCrunch gadget editor John Biggs, who labelled it The World's Nerdiest Watch. It's actually a line of several Click models that feature "retro-tronic" circuit-board designs complete with DIP and turn switches.
The site Watchismo sells the watches, which range in price from US$150 to US$170. Here's how Watchismo describes them:
Click Watches have ingeniously re-appropriated these 'retro-tronics' into an entirely new way to show digital watch functions. Each mechanical switch activates a different function of the watch as seen in the diagrams in the product pages. Functions ranging from bar graph metered time display, 12-hour and 24-hour digital time display, month, date, day of week and backlight.
So DIP or turn switch? What offers more geek cred?
The Click Turn-Switch Ribbon also goes for US$169.99 and is available in multiple colours.
